Meet Dr. Carlton Young
Dr. Carlton Young is a dynamic and entertaining speaker, entrepreneur, veteran, activist, philanthropist, and author of the critically acclaimed “From Home to Homeless to Success.” He has traveled throughout the United States sharing his own personal battle with homelessness, while raising awareness about its causes, effects and solutions.
Founded by America’s Grandfather, Dr. Carlton N. Young, offers expert advice and support to traditional and nontraditional families of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Young advocates the need for effective communication; reinforces the importance of education, self-respect, and old family values. His intent is to help family leaders define their place in the home and prepare individuals and families for lifelong personal, professional, spiritual and emotional growth.
Dr. Young’s organization has a strong focus on preserving the family dynamic, the goal of America’s Grandfather is to educate, develop, and produce men and women of purpose, integrity, and character.

Head quartered in Atlanta, Georgia, America’s Grandfather offers practical advice, time-tested methods and the very best in resources to help families flourish and prosper.
While we don’t accept that a family is one-size-fits-all, we do acknowledge that there is a recipe for success, and if applied right, can create a solid foundation to build a strong family. This includes knowing how to communicate effectively, showing mutual respect, being adaptable to change, and most importantly cultivating an environment that is anchored in love. Yet, while this is the core of our beliefs, we recognize that this may be easier said than done. For that reason, we not only provide a blueprint to help establish family values, we offer hands-on family mentoring to couples and parents with kids of all ages to get you started and help you along the way.
The activities, tips, expert advice and other family resources provided through America’s Grandfather has helped couples and families all across the United States maintain and grow their relationships.
